The TSCK educator workshops aim to expose our teachers to new concepts in teaching and learning, and in this two-hour program aimed at educators, we focus on skills every teacher needs inside of a classroom. Teachers are called in to explore important topics such as public speaking, leadership and creating a learning environment where children are ecstatic and ready to learn. With a focus on learning through play and design-based thinking, this session will be full of valuable information for any educator looking to expand their horizons.

Learning through play October 16th 5:30PM-7:30PM We introduce the concept of learning through play and the importance of implementing it in a classroom setting to help mold the brains of tomorrow.   Public speaking October 30th 5:30PM-7:30PM Educators learn the basic pillars of public speaking and engage in hands on activities to try the newly learned concepts within the program.   Leadership November 6th 5:30PM-7:30PM In this workshop, educators are given new tools to use to become successful and powerful leaders inside of a classroom setting and outside of it.   Classroom management November 20th 5:30PM-7:30PM What does it take to manage a classroom? What tools do you need to reach different kinds of children with varying tolerances to learning? Learn some tips and tricks in this workshop.   Creative thinking December 4th 5:30PM-7:30PM Educators learn basic tenants of creative thinking and how to make every day a different experience for themselves and their students.   Interactive classroom December 18th 5:30PM-7:30PM Students learn more in an interactive and hands on environment. Educators learn how to shape their lessons so that students' interactions with one another and their environment increase their skills and understanding of any subject being taught.
