SCIENTIFIC SUMMER @SCICENTERKW

Summer Camp

The Scientific Center is introducing an all-new summer camp program, created to help children experience a wide range of science activities in a fun, expert-driven environment! Only at The Scientific Center can children spend their summer learning about topics related to their school science curriculum, helping to keep them on track and stay ahead of the curve for the next year.

Starting June 24 and running until August 16, parents can register children on a weekly basis to participate in science modules that spread over a 3-week program, each week independent of the others, but working together to cover a full topic.

Depending on which camp (based on age) and which week in the summer camp children are participating, kids can experience up-front, hands-on learning in themes such as earth sciences, plant and animal biology, weather and climate, animal habitats and ecosystems (a specialty of the Scientific center!), and even field trips, such as to an archeological dig-site!

Developed in partnership with seasoned educators, the program will help children learn teamwork, verbal and written communication, creativity, STEAM-Based approaches to problem solving and analytical thinking. For a more in-depth look at the respective program focuses for each age group, check the corresponding camps below.
